Kathy has over 25 years of experience in the life insurance industry, including time at a home office and with both captive and brokerage agencies. Since 1995, she has concentrated on the life brokerage area with heavy emphasis on impaired risks and large cases.

Kathy joined Nationwide in 2007 as a Division Manager for the Brokerage General Agency (BGA) Underwriting and New Business Team and was promoted in 2009 to Director of Brokerage Underwriting. Due to the growth of the BGA channel at Nationwide, she was asked to take on the role of Director, Underwriting Relationship Strategies in 2014. In this role, Kathy is responsible for driving strategies designed to grow market share and strengthening relationships as well as underwriting competitiveness.

Prior to joining Nationwide, Kathy was an Assistant Vice President of Underwriting and Officer for US Financial/AXA. While there, she developed the Specialized Resource team which underwrote large, impaired risk cases. She also designed and participated in underwriting seminars and at one time served as the Brokerage Director for Finmark, US Financial's home office brokerage agency.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Mount Saint Joseph. She is involved in underwriting organizations including the Ohio Home Office Life Underwriters Association.
