TJ Doan has been with Nationwide for 10 years and currently serves as Assistant Chief Underwriter and Underwriting Director. During his time at Nationwide, TJ has worked in NFN, BGA, WFG and Producer’s Group distributions and has extensive experience in developing Nationwide’s Intelligent Underwriting process and CareMatters product.

Prior to Nationwide, TJ spent eight years at State Farm in a variety of roles including management, LEAN project work, underwriting auditing and impaired risk underwriting. TJ earned a bachelor’s degree In English/Pre-Law from Ohio University, and holds the FALU, CLU, FLMI and RCC designations.
